Road To Perdition Movie Synopsis
Two fathers: Michael Sullivan (Hanks), a hit man for the Irish mob in Depression-era Chicago; and Mr. John Rooney (Newman), Sullivan's boss and
the man who raised him as a son. Two sons: Michael Sullivan, Jr. (Hoechlin) and Connor Rooney (Craig), each desperate to win his father's favor.
Jealousy and competition put them all on a collision course, ultimately bringing Sullivan's work into his private life and leading to the death of his
beloved wife (Leigh) and youngest son, Peter (Aiken). Now Michael Sullivan and his surviving son are set on a journey instigated by tragedy
and fuelled by revenge.
I loved this movie...great performances, directing and acting!!!
Tom Hanks was phenominal as the stoic bad guy who loved his family.
This was one of the most poignant films with regard to the father-son relationship during the Depression era and Irish background.
