School of Life Movie Synopsis

There’s a new teacher in town and he’s taking Fallbrook Middle School by storm. He’s cute. He’s cool. He’s unconventional. The students love Mr. D (Ryan Reynolds). The faculty admires him… except Matt Warner (David Paymer), the uptight biology teacher who dreams of winning the Teacher of the Year award.

Mr. Warner’s dad, Stormin’ Norman (John Astin), was Teacher of the Year 43 years in a row, and now Matt is determined to make this his year. But with Mr. D. on the scene, Mr. Warner sees his chances slipping away. He simply can’t compete when even his own son idolizes Mr. D. Instead of taking things lying down, Matt decides to take Mr. D. down. But when Mr. Warner uncovers the secret Mr. D. is hiding, the teacher and all of Fallbrook learn a lesson they’ll never forget in the school of life.

This movie has reminded me time and time again of who I want to be, and for
