Snow Dogs Movie Synopsis
Ted Brooks (Gooding Jr.) is a Miami dentist who travels to Alaska to receive his inheritance. But instead of wealth, he discovers he's been left a team of snow dogs - Diesel, Scooper, Nana, Yodel, Sniff, Mack, Duchess and Demon – all of whom are unimpressed with their new master.
When crusty local mountain man Thunder Jack (Coburn) encourages Jack to return home so that he can claim the dogs for himself, Jack sucks up the courage to train himself as a musher, enter the Iditarod (the famous Alaskan dog sled race) and prove he's not just a city slicker.
Based on Gary Paulsen's book Winterdance: The Fine Madness of Running the Iditarod.
I loved the dogs. I also liked the puppys like Avalanch.
This movie is one of the best "feel-good" movies I have seen in a very long time. Cuba is an incredible actor of many talents. Having some of the older generation of actors in this movie added boat-loads of talent. Great movie, 5 stars, easily!!!
THIS MOVIE ROCKS! GOOD JOB HOOLYWOOD!
