Actress/filmmaker Maïwenn sets out to make a documentary on the various aspects of being an actress. She seeks out eleven French film stars, from Charlotte Rampling to Karin Viard, Julie Depardieu and Jeanne Balibar. She asks each one permission to film intimate aspects of their lives, and convinces them to drop the mask of glamour that separates their private and public lives. During their musings on the fear of aging or the distress of one day being forgotten, Maïwenn is allowed bit by bit into their universe.
