The Cider House Rules tells the story of a Homer Wells (Maguire), a child without parents who is raised and mentored by his orphanage's doctor Larch (Caine). Dr. Larch has made abortion his (not so) secret vocation and set up the orphanage for those women who chose not to have the operation. Homer grows up under Dr. Larch's tutelage, learning the trade through a sort of apprenticeship.

the best movie of all times
Okay but nothing spectacular. Also the movie does have a strong pro-abortion subplot which might turn off some viewers.
I really enjoyed this movie. Tobey maguire story was awesome. Excellent movie!!
