The Land Girls

As World War II rages on, many of England's young men have been called to the front to engage the enemy in battle. Meanwhile, female volunteers back home, known as "Land Girls," have been dispatched to rural areas to help fill the holes in the labour force. This call of duty sends a trio of young women to a remote farm in the Dorset countryside. Their time together allows them to form a bond while they experience passion, tragedy and the triumph of a nation.
