Together (2001) Movie Synopsis
After being beaten by her husband yet again, Elizabeth leaves him with her two children and decides to temporarily live with her brother, Goran. Goran lives in a large house with a community of people who believe in anti-capitalism, feminism, free love, vegetarianism and rejects middle-class values. After a while, Elizabeth adapts easly to the new way of life. Her children, however, find the change difficult. As time passes, her husband enters the society hoping to convince her to return to him.
I thought it was an excellent film that approaches the mystery of our human experiences, the director or the writer have done a bang on job with catching or creating those life changing moments that we experience as live and learn moments. I found it surprising at times as all heck much more shocking than any hollywood production. I feel very privleged to have seen it and recommend anyone interested in seeing themselves honestly to watch it.
