When Did You Last See Your Father? is an unflinching exploration of a father/son relationship, as Blake Morrison deals with his father Arthur's terminal illness and imminent death. Blake's memories of everything
funny, embarrassing and upsetting about his childhood and teens are interspersed with tender and heartrending
scenes in the present, as he struggles to come to terms with his father, and their history of conflict,
and learns to accept that one's parents are not always accountable to their children.
A sad drama but with excellent acting. Look for more of my reviews.

Oops, I mistook Colin Firth for being Colin Farrell, so it was not what I expected. That being said though, I thought this was a very good movie (based on a true story).
I went to this movie expecting it to not be very good as per posts/ratings here. I thought it was amazing on many levels! Having lost my mother and close to losing my father, it really touched home. It teaches one to focus on what is truly important in life, and that life is short … important to make the most of it!
