Christina Ricci marries James Heerdegen

The Smurfs 2 actress Christina Ricci married her fiancé James Heerdegen on Saturday, October 26 in New York City. The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony on Manhattan’s Upper East Side at the Harold Pratt House & Peterson Hall. Christina donned a high neck, white silk tulle Givenchy haute couture gown with Chantilly lace applique and satin piping. She also wore her hair in a side bun with a white tulle veil with matching lace appliqué. After the ceremony, guests were treated to a cocktail hour along with dinner and dancing. There was also a candy bar with treats handpicked by Christina from Economy Candy in the Lower East Side. James and Christina met on the set of the former ABC series Pan Am in 2011, in which Christina was working as an actor and James was a dolly grip. Their relationship went public in February when their engagement was confirmed after Christina was spotted wearing a ring. This will be Christina’s first marriage, although she was previously engaged to Sullivan & Son actor Benjamin Owen in 2009. ~ Brie Davis
