Dumb & Dumber sequel to have Jennifer Lawrence cameo

Oscar-winner Jennifer Lawrence will play a younger version of Kathleen Turner’s character in the Farrelly Brothers’ sequel to the 1994 comedy classic Dumb & Dumber.  According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jennifer Lawrence spent a day on the set of Dumb and Dumberer To in Atlanta, where she is also shooting the third film in the Hunger Games trilogy, Mockingjay. The second film in the trilogy, Catching Fire, is set for release on November 22nd. Lawrence can also be seen in David O. Russell’s upcoming drama American Hustle, as well as next year’s X-Men: Days of Future Past, which are both in post-production. She revealed in an interview with Jimmy Fallon that Dumb & Dumber is one of her favorite comedies.“I know every word to Dumb & Dumber, Step Brothers and Anchorman,” she said. The sequel will see Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels reprise their roles as Lloyd and Harry, and will follow their journey in search of Harry’s long-lost daughter. The cast also includes Laurie Holden and Rob Riggle. ~Raj-Kabir Birk

    I will watch this. Farelly Bros., movies are formulaic now but it’s got to be funny if Jim Carey chose to do it. He doesn’t like to do sequels and the first one is classic and one of the most stupid funny movies of all time.

    What a relief! I hate going to a movie only to find out Jennifer Lawrence isn’t in it.
