Francesca Eastwood named Miss Golden Globe 2013

It looks like Francesca Eastwood is following in the footsteps of her famous father. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association chose Francesca – daughter of Hollywood veteran Clint Eastwood – to be Miss Golden Globe 2013. This esteemed position will see Francesca handing out awards during the 70th Golden Globe Awards ceremony hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. Past Miss Golden Globes include celebrity daughters such as Laura Dern, Joely Fisher, Rumer Willis and many more. Although Francesca says she “feels honored to have been chosen,” she’s jokes that she’s “a little worried, maybe, about falling over or doing something like that.” Francesca starred in her first movie at the age of two and currently appears on the reality TV show Mrs. Eastwood & Company. Francesca will be the second of Eastwood’s kids to hold the title – her half-sister Kathryn Reeves was Miss Golden Globe in 2005, presenting her father Clint with a Golden Globe for his Academy Award-winning film Million Dollar Baby. Francesca is set to star in Final Girl, directed by her boyfriend Tyler Shields. ~Brandon Bastaldo
