Emilia ClarkeEmilia Clarke is known as the ”dragon lady” at her local newsagents in north London.

The 28-year-old actress is always recognized when she goes into her local store for some groceries by the staff who are fans of Game of Thrones – in which she plays Daenerys Targaryen – and they affectionately refer to her as the blonde queen who controls three dragons.

Emilia said: ”(When I can go in) they will say, ‘Oh, hello, dragon lady.’ ” She added: ”It’s like, ‘Oh, that’s my face on a magazine… OK, morning, could I just have the milk, please?’ ”

Although she’s very popular in her local store, Emilia – who is believed to dating her Terminator Genisys co-star Jai Courtney – doesn’t get any attention when she out with her GoT co-star Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow.

She said: ”I’ll be in the bathroom and hear these girls saying, ‘I don’t know who she is but that’s Jon Snow!’ You can’t go anywhere without him being mobbed.”

I would not recognize her, she looks nothing like she does on the show.

There are a lot of worse things to be known as. I’m kinda glad she owns the Dragon Lady title.
