Notebook author Nicholas Sparks scripting TV show

Nicholas Sparks, whose romantic books The Notebook, A Walk to Remember and Dear John have been made into hit movies, has signed a deal to script a new ABC TV drama series called The Watchers. The plot is about an angel who decides to cut off his wings so he can be with his one true love, Sarah, a mortal woman. According to the Hollywood Reporter: “When Sarah’s life is cut short, Rafe is left to wander the Earth solo as a fallen angel. Dependent on the kindness of strangers and hunted by angels from above and below, Rafe travels undercover, performing miracles as he searches for the meaning of loss and clues to Sarah’s fate.” Sparks told Deadline, “I’ve always wanted to create a smart, unconventional show about angels on Earth, and ABC is the perfect home for this kind of imaginative, character-driven drama.” Meanwhile, movie adaptations of three of his novels —  The Lucky One, Safe Haven and The Best of Me — are in the works as well.

City of Angels, Highway to Heaven, Touched By An Angel….it’s all been done before. Hope N.S. can come up with something original…..

Definitely believe that which you stated. Your favorite reason seemed to be on the net
the simplest thing to be aware of. I say to you,
I certainly get annoyed while people consider worries that they just do not know
about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top and defined out the whole thing without having side-effects
, people can take a signal. Will likely be back to get
    more. Thanks
