Lee Thompson Young

Lee Thompson Young starred as Detective Barry Frost on TNT's Rizzoli & Isles from 2010 to 2014. Before that, he appeared in a number of TV shows, following his breakout starring role on the Disney Channel series The Famous Jett Jackson, playing the title role. He had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder as a teenager and suffered from bouts of depression and mania. He was believed to have been on medication, but on August 19, 2013, he was found dead in his apartment of a self-inflicted gunshot to the head. He was 29 years old. No suicide note was found.
