Pink calls Selena Gomez “stupid”

Singer Pink is angry at Disney Channel star Selena Gomez because she believes the teen singer/actress allowed horses to be abused for her latest music video. Pink apparently spotted Selena filming her new video ‘Love You Like A Love Song’ on a Malibu beach with white horses that were covered in fuchsia paint, so she wrote on her twitter page: “If there are any animal activists around Malibu- at Leo Cabrillo State Beach, there are horses being painted for a stupid music video. Shame. Artists should be more aware and responsible for their actions. whether u r a fan of mine or whomEVER’S, i won’t stop speaking out about animal cruelty.i’ve taken responsibility in the past,so should she.” However, Selena’s record label denied animals were harmed for the video. A spokesperson said, “It was important to the Production Company, Record Label and Ms. Gomez that no animals were harmed and all proper precautions were taken. A non toxic, vegetable based powder paint was applied via an airbrush and removed with water. An official from the Humane Society was on set supervising.”

Singer Selena Gomez’s Instagram was briefly shut down after hackers took over the account and posted nude photos of her ex boyfriend, Justin Bieber.
I saw a photo of those horses, they look ridiculous. Definitely shame on her. I used to like her when she was an actress but now that she’s trying to be a rock star and dating Justin Bieber, she just gets on my nerves.

I agree with Pink. Any1 can say something and make it appear like its OK or its the truth. But putting on, even veg. dye IS abuse. No question about it!! Horses have pores too. Any artificial chemicals in it gets in their pores/weakens their immune system and cells!!
Anything could have happened. How would horses wash off dye if no humans were around? I think Pink is stupid by jumping the gun and making accusations without knowing. It’s not the singer that decides what’s in the video for one thing and how is putting non-toxic paint on a horse animal cruelty? Before I read the article, I thought the horses were being whipped or something.
I think Selena is a brainless twit. As the “star” of a production, especially a music video, you definitely have a say on what goes on during it. She probably thought it was cute to have pink horses. BTW, the new Hangover II, which features a monkey, did NOT earn the Humane Society disclaimer that says no animals were harmed during the making of this film. Animal lovers should boycott films and other products in which animals are harmed.
I think people should worry more about others who are suffering due to tsunami, tornado, flooding, earthquake, war instead of worrying about animals. Give it a rest about animals.

Have any of you heard of spell check? Painting ANY animal for ANY reason is cruel. Most of the posters who have written should stay in school…that is the scariest issue I see here…WOW!, the grammar and spelling mistakes scares me when I think that this is representative of our future…Go get them, Pink, I am with you as long as you do not wear/eat any animal product or by-product…put up or shut up. You cannot choose an issue and be a user/abuser by association or lifestyle just because you do not like a person.

They didn’t whip it to death, they didn’t break it’s legs, they put a washable paint on him/her and then when they were done, gave it a bath….really?? Selena Gomez is a young adult and I think some of the other comments above are cruel – she’s a good young actor, who cares who she is dating (good for her if it’s JB as he’s a star himself).

I appreciate that Pink is taking a stand to protect the innocent beings that can’t speak out for themselves. If anyone seen a human that couldn’t defend themselves out on the beach being abused, I would hope they would speak out about that, why are animals always put at a “who cares?” level? I love Pink for speaking out. There are enough animals being tortured in the world, why do we need to add to that for lame music videos?

Personally I think it is a form of abuse to dye animals.. Who cares what you are dying it with. They should have been able to film the video and add the color later.

If Pink was so concerned about the horses, why didn’t she do something. If the animals were in such danger, why post it on Twitter and not call the proper authorities. As the article states, the Human Society was there and if Pink had only gone and questioned what was going on, there would be no need for all this back-stabbing.
I suppose next we’ll be saying that Native Americans can no longer paint their horses in ceremonial markings either. After all, why should some people be allowed to paint horses and not others.

Simply put, they have no apendages or brain to write and last time I checked, I have not seen posters walking into my class to learn to write. When you are critiquing an individual’s message whom is critiquing another individual’s message on the basis of grammar and/or spelling errors, make sure you spell that individual’s name properly. It is his name and is is the first word in his message. It would be equivalent of using Mandee instead of Amanda. Both are names and both are dumber than a dog’s dinner.

I think Pink jumped the gun. She should have inquired with the producers of the video before looking like a fool. So is it cruelty to put those dog coats on dogs? I would think that any singer should/would have a say in anything that is done in one of their videos and I agree with Pink, ( who I am a big fan of she didn’t come from disney or anything like that, she made herself and speaks up for what she believes in.
