Stars celebrating the holidays

The new year has finally arrived and it was certainly a busy holiday season even for celebrities, who were spotted all over town. Mariah Carey got some last-minute shopping done on Christmas Eve in Aspen, Colorado as did Beyoncé and Jay-Z in New York City. Meanwhile Miley Cyrus and fiancé Liam Hemsworth were seen getting close after a family gathering in Palm Springs and his brother Chris and wife, Elsa Pataky, took their seven-month-old daughter, India, for a Christmas Eve breakfast in Santa Monica. Jennifer Lopez also spent some quality time with her little ones, Emme and Max, and boyfriend Casper Smart in Beverly Hills. Actor Giovanni Ribisi and Agyness Deyn, who got married in June, spent New Year’s Eve shopping in Beverly Hills but in the evening, celebrations were in full swing. Taylor Swift and Carly Rae Jepsen were just some of the stars at the festivities in Times Square in New York City, while Nicki Minaj hosted a party at Pure Nightclub inside Caesars Palace Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
