Selena Gomez wanted to be slimmer after Victoria’s Secret show

Selena Gomez ”didn’t want to eat anything” after performing at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show.

The 23-year-old singer was one of the musical acts at the prestigious event last year and admits being on the runway alongside the likes of Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Lily Aldridge and Candice Swanepoel made her want a better body.

She said: ”It makes you want to work out and not eat anything. I did feel really short, but it was really fun.”

However, the singer didn’t have too much to worry about because she knew there was no ”pressure” on her performance because she wasn’t the main focus of the show.

She added to Rolling Stone magazine: ”The pressure wasn’t all on me. It was great to be able to dance with these beautiful women.”

Selena’s first concert experience was to see Britney Spears and even though she and her mother didn’t have the best seats, she’ll never forget the ”awesome” evening.

She said: ”I was 11 or 12. I’m from Texas, so it was in Dallas. We couldn’t really afford to do any of that stuff, but my mom had been saving up because it was the first CD I ever bought. I was absolutely obsessed with Britney. We were in the nosebleeds – it was just€‰… €‰it was awesome.”
