JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT
Date of Birth: February 21, 1979
You knew her as Sarah on Party of Five and you might recognize her as a spokesperson for L.A. Gear, for whom she appeared in advertising with Michael Jordan. She was only 10 when she was signed.
Jennifer Love Hewitt was born in Waco, Texas and began singing at three. By nine, she was part of a troupe that went to Russia on a goodwill tour. A year later, she moved to Los Angeles and appeared on television in McKenna, The Byrds of Paradise, Shaky Ground and Kids, Incorporated.
On the big screen her credits include I Know What You Did Last Summer, Telling You, House Arrest and Sister Act 2.
Love, as her friends call her, became extraordinarily popular with the college crowd in the late '90s and has a number of Internet sites devoted to her. Besides acting, she has released three albums: Love Songs, Let's Go Bang and Jennifer Love Hewitt.
In 1999, she left Party of Five to star in her own spin-off Time of Your Life, which unfortunately lasted only one season. However, she made the leap to feature films with starring roles in The Tuxedo (2002) opposite Jackie Chan, and Garfield: The Movie (2004), featuring the voice of Bill Murray as the famous feline.
In 2005, she began starring in a new CBS hour-long drama series Ghost Whisperer (2005), for which she received a Saturn Award nomination as Best Actress on Television from the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films. She continues to shoot features, such as the sequel Garfield's A Tale of Two Kitties (2006), when on hiatus from the show.
Hewitt lives in Los Angeles with two cats, Haylie and Don Juan DeMarco. She is engaged to Scottish actor Ross McCall.
