Date of Birth: September 21, 1983
Born in Columbus, Ohio, Maggie Grace knew from an early age that she was destined to be an actress. She read plays in her spare time and became involved in local theater. Her film acting debut came at the age of 18 in the title role in Rachel's Room (2001), a Canada/U.S. co-production. In 2002, she filmed the big screen movie Shop Club (2002) followed by the telefilm Murder in Greenwich, for which she received a Young Artist Award nomination. The same year she landed her first regular role on a series, Fox-TV's Septuplets, but unfortunately, the show was cancelled before it aired.
For the next couple of years, she made a living with guest appearances on numerous shows such as CSI: Miami, Like Family, Oliver Beene (seven appearances in the recurring role of Elke), Cold Case and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, in addition to playing the Goth-influenced estranged daughter of Wendy Crewson and Tom Selleck in the TV movie 12 Mile Road (2003).
Just before her 22nd birthday, Grace landed the role of a lifetime, playing spoiled rich girl Shannon Rutherford on the new series Lost, which became a huge hit immediately after it debuted in September 2004.
Since returning to the big screen in the remake of the horror flick The Fog (2005) opposite Tom Welling she's appeared in a number of major motion pictures, including Taken (2009) with Liam Neeson (she reprised her role for the 2012 sequel Taken 2), Knight and Day with Tom Cruise and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1. She also appears in the thriller Lockout (2012) playing the President's daugther, who's been taken hostage by convicts at a maximum security prison in outer space.
