Rory (Jude Law), an ambitious entrepreneur, doesn't see any opportunities in America and convinces his wife Allison (Carrie Coon) to move the family to back to England. They live in a massive manor with horses and a stable for Allison, but she isn't happy. Soon after the move, their marriage starts to crumble. Allison accuses Rory of being obsessed with money and appearances.
