Story only made it by two good actors, esp the charm of Winona.
But story is cookie cutter.
I am interested in the line the doctor used whne Richard Gere asked the doctor whether there was an alternative to surgery in reference to Winona's terminal illness. The doctor responded something "you dont really believe in that stuff?. I was waiting for Richard Gere to say as a matter of fact I do. If anyone knows exactly what the AMA said, please post.
