Great family saga. Grand themes involve onflict within the family and the family being caught in the winds of social change during tumultuous times.

I thought that it was an excellent movie. The fine quality of this film was evident from the first seconds. Good drama and a good story which points out that assimilation does not make Jews safe at all!
Did not know what to expect but was engrossed from the start and felt travel the journey with the film`s character. A really good movie. Great performances
