Tribute's final day in our TIFF suite ended on a high note, with Hayden Christensen and Akon, who star in the new film American Heist, stopping by to speak with us about the indie action thriller. Hayden made a splash with our staff by taking time to take photos and chat a little bit about his hometown roots in the GTA.
Canadian comedian/singer Nicole Arbour also dropped in to sign our poster and show off her cheerful demeanour. Meanwhile, Degrassi alum and star of the new film Teen Lust, Annie Clark, stopped in to promote the sinful teen comedy about a teenage boy, played by Jesse Carere, who tries to lose his virginity before his devil-worshipping parents use him as a virgin sacrifice. Carere and director Brian Thurier were in the suite to talk about the film as well as signing our Tribute poster.
Other featured guests include co-directors Matthew Kennedy and Adam Brooks, who spoke about their Midnight Madness horror film The Editor and Canadian recording artist Alysha promoting her upcoming full-length album.
