T2 Trainspotting Movie Clip - "Addicted to Running"

In this clip from T2 Trainspotting, we see Spud (Ewen Bremner) and Renton (Ewan McGregor) running up the side of a mountain. Once at the top, they talk about drugs and detoxification. Renton tells Spud that he needs to get drugs out of his mind, not just out of his body. He tells him to channel it elsewhere – to be addicted to something else, like running or boxing. Spud asks Renton what he’s channeled into to which Renton responds, “Getting away.”
