Emily Mortimer Interview
Emily Mortimer worked with director Martin Scorsese on Shutter Island, so it was no surprise when he asked her to be in his latest film, Hugo. Mortimer, a mother of two, was also intrigued when she found out that the film was going to be for families. Set in 1930s Paris, the family film is about an orphan who lives in the walls of a train station and is wrapped up in a mystery involving his late father and an automaton.
Bonnie Laufer from Tribute spoke with Emily in New York about the film that changed her life, working with Martin Scorsese and making films that her son can enjoy.
