  • 2 stars "This whole film is anti-climactic. It reminds me of the old commercial saying "Where's the Beef" You keep waiting for something to happen but it never does. Like the Godfather 3 the Woman is the darkest of the bunch. She alludes to her criminal family. It is a very interesting sub plot that is never developed and therefore a waste even mentioning. It's part of the overall tease of the film that keeps you watching and hoping. The storyline is much like a a stew. It just simmers along for 2 hrs without anything every really interesting happening. It just teases the viewer a few times and then ends. For being the most Violent Year in New York's History the film's title is really an Oxymoron. C"
