La fille de Montréal

Ariane, a Montreal filmmaker in her forties, has lived in the same apartment for 25 years. She loves her neighborhood, its shops and its residents, so when her landlord sends her an eviction notice telling her she has to find another place to live, she's in a state of shock. Her Parisian lover, Catherine, follows her sad story at a distance while her old friends, actors Mireille and Charles, help her sort things out and pack. Rent in the highly sought-after neighborhood has skyrocketed and Ariane is forced to look elsewhere for a new place to live.
