Local to Global: Canadian Films in the World

National Film Board of Canada shorts have won awards all over the world, impacting on film-making everywhere. The shorts shown today are all animated multiple award winners, including two winners of Academy Awards. The films are: The Sweater, Every Child, From Far Away, Lights for Gita, The Log Driver's Waltz (all made specially for children) and Ryan.
