Shark Bait
When his parents are caught in fishermen’s nets, Pi, a young fish, is taken by his porpoise friends to his aunt Pearl, who lives in an immense reef. When he reaches adulthood, Pi falls for Cordelia, and manages to conquer her heart. But that makes Troy, a tiger shark who terrorizes everyone, very angry because he’s in love with Cordelia himself.
To prevent Troy from harming Pi, Cordelia promises her hand in marriage to the shark. Pi then decides to face his rival and goes to Nerissa, a hundred-year-old tortoise, for advice.
