The Fairy

An unusual love story develops between Dom, the night receptionist in a modest hotel in Le Havre, and Fiona, an escapee from a mental institution who claims to be a fairy who can fulfill three of his wishes. Meanwhile, a British hotel client smuggles three Africans into the country without papers to thank them for having found his missing dog. But despite help from Dom, Fiona and a myopic innkeeper, his plan misfires.
