The TV Fest is a short film festival showcasing award winning submissions from around the globe, including a selection of films produced by local Okanagan talent. The festival runs September 15-17th with *free* admission! Due to Consumer Protection Ratings, this screening is currently limited to ages 18+. This may change closer to the screening if ratings can be completed on time.

A COMMON THREAD directed by Rosalee Yagihara (Canada) - Featuring Vancouver based slow clothes artisans and their reasons for creating clothes in a more mindful way, this film examines Ghandi's key concepts from his powerful Khadi movement which are as vital today facing global issues and climate change as they were in liberating India from British rule in 1947. 12 MINS

BROTHER RICK directed by Elton Hubner (Canada) - How a member of the Quw’utsun First Nation is bringing people of different backgrounds and generations together as brothers and sisters. 15 MINS
