Amanda Bynes suffers from schizophrenic tendencies

Troubled star Amanda Bynes reportedly suffers from a severe mental illness with schizophrenic tendencies, according to sources by TMZ. Bynes, 27, is currently under a psychiatric hold at a psych ward for two weeks, while her parents have requested conservatorship. According to TMZ’s sources, doctors have determined that “there’s a good Amanda and a bad Amanda.” When Amanda talked about her bad persona, she mimicked an exorcism by pulling at her body and biting herself. TMZ’s sources claim that Bynes was lucid for 10 hours, acting “kind, quiet and nice.” However, when the staff questioned her about the fire she started at a Thousand Oaks resident’s driveway, her mood changed to frustration. She began to interrogate the staff about the whereabouts of her pet Pomeranian whom she had soaked in gasoline. When she was told that it was safe with her parents, Bynes claimed: “They’ll kill it, just like they tried to kill me.”

Meanwhile, Bynes’ former friend, Ana Rivera, 22, has opened up to media agency Coleman-Rayner about the actress she befriended in New York City back in November. New York Daily News obtained the interview with Rivera, who claimed that Amanda lived a lonely life, often talking to herself and watching Marilyn Monroe films on mute. “The (Wall Street) place was a mess. She didn’t even have a shower curtain in the bathroom, so there was always an inch of water on the floor,” said Rivera. “She opened up, and it was obvious she had problems. It was immediately obvious she didn’t have any friends. When I asked if she’d met a lot of people since she moved to New York, she said only me and another woman in her building,”

Rivera also revealed that Amanda’s habit of calling people “ugly” on Twitter was also part of her life. “Everything she said out loud, she thought she was saying in her head. She never even apologized, she just carried on,” said Rivera, who was often insulted by Bynes. “When she says in public that it wasn’t her, it must be an imposter, I don’t think she’s even aware or remembers going out in those outfits, and so (she) genuinely believes it’s not her.” ~Alfonso Espina

Schizophrenia is different from Multiple Personality Disorder, although most confuse the two thanks to media mistakes.

This honestly makes me feel sad. She needs help immediately or things are going to get worse and worse. Even though her antics on Twitter and her bong throwing incident made me despise, now, if all this is true, I just hope for the best for her :'(
