Anne Hathaway’s diaries seized by FBI

Anne Hathaway’s personal diaries have been seized by FBI agents, reports the New York Daily News. Apparently, the authorities are looking for any incriminating information they can get on Hathaway’s ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri, who was arrested in April on suspicion of fraud. The FBI has taken a close interest in The Princess Diaries star, and the seizure of her journals might bring her further into the investigation. Also confiscated were personal documents, watches, a Tiffany clock, an antique bible and intimate photos of the former couple. Upon learning of her boyfriend’s sordid past, Hathaway cut off all contact with the alleged con artist, who remains in Federal custody charged with 11 counts of fraud and money laundering. Meanwhile, Hathaway, who can currently be seen on the big screen in Get Smart, is doing anything but moping about the breakup. Seen on Monday night at a karaoke bar in New Jersey, the actress was belting out Journey hits with friends and family. “She was the life and soul of the party,” said karaoke host Terry O’Brien.

   i cant believe this girl didn’t know what was going on with her boyfriend. they were practically engaged – she had to know something fishy was going on with this guy!

   This might be a good reason to NOT keep a diary! Imagine what she has in there that is very private and personal, that is now in the FBI’s hands! I know they will keep it confidential (unless there is a leak!), but still, there are other people reading her diary!

   What I wanna know is what they took the clock and bible for? Personal docs, photo’s etc, but why a clock? lol weird

   Because it was a ‘Tiffany’ clock….either it belonged to him or he gave it to her as a gift…??? Idk. Or maybe they just don’t think SHE ever made enough money to buy anything that extravagant.
