Challengers wins the box office championship this weekend

Two new movies made it into the top five at this weekend’s box office, taking over the top two spots.
Challengers starring Zendaya as a professional tennis coach debuted at the top this weekend, earning $15 million.
The inspirational movie Unsung Hero, about a musical family that achieves great success, debuted in second with $7.8 million.
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire held onto third, garnering an additional $7.2 million for a five-week total of $181.7 million. Click here to read our review.
Civil War, a dystopian tale of America at war dropped from the top spot to fourth, earning an extra $7 million for a three-week total of $56.2 million.
Rounding out the top five was the horror movie Abigail, taking in an additional $5.3 million for a two-week total of $18.8 million.
