david_cassidy.jpgDavid Cassidy and his two half-brothers, Shaun and Patrick Cassidy, are teaming up for an ABC Family TV series called Ruby and the Rockits. It stars Patrick Cassidy (the only one of the three never to have been a teen idol in real life) as a former teen idol who has chosen to lead a quiet life with his wife and two sons. But when his former Rockits bandmate and brother (David Cassidy) shows up unexpectedly with his newfound teenage daughter (Alexa Vega) in tow, the family’s life becomes anything but normal. Shaun, who doesn’t appear in the show, is the executive producer and writer. Meanwhile, David, who rose to superstardom in the ABC TV series The Partridge Family in the 1970s, is performing in the Greater Toronto area Thursday night (February 5) at the Rose Theatre in Brampton. The show starts at 8:00 p.m. For more info, click here.

Oh well, I won’t be watching. Doesn’t sound interesting to me at all. Besides, Shaun was the one I thought was cute and he won’t be in it…

Oh, ALL those Cassidy sons were good-looking and talented. Nice to see they are still being creative.
