David Schwimmer is going to be a dad

Former Friends star David Schwimmer is going to be a father — his wife, British photographer Zoe Buckman, is pregnant with their first child. A rep for the actor said: “They couldn’t be more thrilled.” David’s family has known about the pregnancy for the last few weeks but the couple were determined to keep the news under wraps until the time was right to share their joy with the world. A source told BANG Showbiz: “Everyone is overjoyed for them. They are such a great couple and they have been thinking about having a baby since they got married in the summer. They will be great parents and this is the right time for them to start a family. This has topped off a great year for them both.” David and Zoe met in London in 2007 when the 44-year-old star was directing the movie Run, Fat Boy, Run starring Simon Pegg, and she was working as a waitress at the Cuckoo Club. They announced their engagement in March 2010 and tied the knot in a private ceremony in early June.

Haven’t seen much of David in the last few years. Granted, Friends made him enough money to not have to work for the rest of his life but he’s a talented guy and should be still working. Having a child in his mid fourties will occupy him plenty though.
