Demi MooreAfter taking a year off, Demi Moore has just booked two back-to-back projects in independent films. Along with “the Queen of Indie” Parker Posey, she’ll have a leading role in Happy Tears, written and directed by filmmaker Mitchell Lichtenstien. Moore and Posey play characters tired of dealing with their hateful father, who suffers from dementia. Filming begins later this month in Philadelphia. Following Happy Tears, Moore will star opposite Josh Hartnett in the martial arts film Bunraku, written and directed by Guy Moshe. Hartnett portrays a revenge-seeking man who finds himself in the middle of a fight bigger than he realized. Moore plays a concubine who is forced to marry her captor. Expect to see a lot of different inspirational aspects in this film that range from puppets, comic books, video games and German expressionism. Filming will commence this summer in Europe.
