Fantastic Four drowns Ocean’s Thirteen at weekend box office

Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer skated past Ocean’s Thirteen to top the weekend box office with a gross of $57.4 million all figures US). Ocean’s Thirteen was pushed to second place with $19.1 million. The comedy Knocked Up held on to third with $14.5 million. Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End sank to fourth place, earning $12 million, while Surf’s Up went down a spot from fourth to round out the top five with $9.3 million.
