Amy Poehler considering move from SNL to The Office

Funnywoman Amy Poehler is in talks to join a spin-off of the popular NBC show The Office, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The spin-off won’t be coming to the small screen until early February, reportedly set to debut after the Super Bowl. Poehler is also pregnant with her first child, which is due in the fall, and this could play a big role in her decision. If Poehler does make the move to the NBC sitcom, she will be following in her fellow Saturday Night Live and Baby Mama co-star Tina Fey’s footsteps, who left SNL for the comedy 30 Rock.

   I love her and Tina… I think going on the show is a good idea The Office is hilarious and she would fit in perfectly just like Tina who made a good decision cause 30 Rock is awesome… besides can’t stay on SNL forever not to say that it’s a bad show but we all have to move on sometime especially if you want to have a big acting career in hollywood..

   I agree, Tammy, and have previously stated on here (to the ridicule of a few) I love The Office, and this is a good fit for Amy. Also love 30 Rock as well. Have purchased the first season, as well as all of The Office (U.S. and U.K.) and have lent them to many who have in turn become addicted to the humour.

   SNL has always been an entertaining show, many of the guest hosts have been really funny. I loved Christopher Walken as a host.

   I will for sure be watching….

   Oh man Christopher Walken is awesome the way he talks… even when he’s serious makes me crack up…hey Jo-Anne have you been watching Last Comic Standing you would like it…there’s this guy that can impersonate anyone… he is hilarious…

   SNL’s been shit since the early 90’s. Even Will Ferrel couldn’t save it, and I actually like the guy. She should get out while she can, she’s practically holding the whole darn thing together…..

   The Office is the best thing on TV and Amy will be a welcome addition. I also agree that The Last Comic Standing guy is hilarious!

   BTW, good segue from “dog shit” to DOG, clearly implying that the aforementioned show is poo-poo ca-ca.
