George Clooney hooks up with Croatian model

By Marriska Fernandes on October 3, 2013 | 12 Comments

George Clooney, 52, recently hooked up with Croatian model Monika Jakisic, 33, at his Los Angeles mansion. A source told Us Weekly: “They spent hours talking, and have an incredible connection.” This is not the first time the Gravity actor has been spotted with the London-based model. The two have apparently been having an on-again/off-again fling for several months. In May, the actor was seen flirting with the model at a London nightclub, while he was still dating Stacy Kiebler. The source added: “They danced and held hands. He’s been calling and texting her ever since.” George has, however, denied the rumors, telling MailOnline: “The story is made up. I wasn’t holding anybody’s hand. Stop trying to sell magazines by creating  scandal that isn’t there.” It was in July of this year that George and Stacy called it quits after two years of dating.

Even when he’s supposedly dating someone, he isn’t making a commitment to them. They’re just a convenience, it means he doesn’t have to pay someone to be an escort.

Right. Because a gorgeous, talented, rich actor who is one of the world’s sexiest men, obviously has trouble getting dates.
He is already the poster boy for bachelorhood, and women know that going in, so what exactly is your problem, Jeff? Or anyone else’s? Clooney is the complete package and any woman would be lucky to spend time with him under any circumstances.

Actually, Lou, that’s exactly the point I was trying to make. Women should know exactly what they’re getting when going out with him. He’s offering money and glamor, not security. They’re temporary play things and he doesn’t promise anything more than that. However, I don’t think he’s the complete package or that women are lucky to spend time with him. If they’re shallow, sure. Because he’s offering superficial things. There’s no depth there.

so is he becoming a cougar now?

I think he’s been a ‘cougar’ for sometime now. Commitment phobic I would guess.

I agree with Jeff. Although I think George is incredibly good looking, he has a shallow view of life and women. He would like to think that he is a liberated honest person, but to be honest, I think he is the type of man who thrives on the newness of each romance. He has to constantly be hunting and flirting to fill his emotional stud basket in order to keep all his deep insecurities at bay.

George had never led anyone on or been pretentious. Not everyone wants to settle down and get married, including myself. Every woman who gets a temporary relationship with him secretly believes that she’s the one he’s going to finally get hooked on, because you know, it inevitably happens to everybody at least once in their lives. You don’t want to get hooked but it happens. I think George splits up with them when he’s getting too emotionally involved to protect himself from the tie-down that he doesn’t want & to protect her from the misery that he thinks will happen if they marry. You know how they say “If you love someone, set them free”. He doesn’t believe he’d stay committed to a marriage for very long and there’d be divorce and the whole nasty mess he sees everyone else getting into.
Why does everyone think that marriage is the be all and end all for happiness?? It’s definitely not. George is good to his temps – no abuse – physical, mental or emotional – no head games. He is what he is and has never made any secret of it. Still, women think THEY will be the ONE. If they get hurt – their bad, not his.

P.S…..I’ve never heard of George having more than one on the go at once, so there’s no messing around behind her back. There’s always a public statement made that it’s George and this or that one.
The one that George would “try” to marry is the one he can’t have – someone who wants the same things that he currently wants. women come too easily for him and I’ll bet it’s a turn off – no challenge. For someone who can just have anything and anybody he wants, the one he’ll truly want is the impossible one that he’ll try endlessly to corral and if he finally captures her, he’ll feel complete and lucky to have her.

One of the worlds most popular bachelors..yes you should know what you’re getting into. Enjoy it while it lasts with him. If you think you’re the one who will nail him down into a marriage committment, then good for you, keep reaching for the stars.

Otherwise, good for him, he isn’t marrying anyone, and subsequently divorcing them and having to pay child support or alimony or anything like that. Keep what you got George! Enjoy life until you can’t anymore. True stat: Number one cause of divorce is marriage. 😉

Poor George. Doing what he wants, when he wants, with some of the most beautiful women in the world. If that’s not enough, they are encouraging him! When he sees a new one to conquer, well it is adios, and ariba.

What you see – is what you get….

George is very open about not offering anything more…He has repeatedly stated he’s tried marriage and is not very good at it – so – never again …..what is unclear about that !

Unreality comes from the women who think THEY will be the one to change him….not going to happen !

A single man chasing single women. What’s the problem? It appears he respects himself and women enough that he does not chase married women.
