Scarlett JohanssonKate Winslet has stepped in to replace Nicole Kidman, dropped out due to her pregnancy, in The Reader, while Charlize Theron has been cast as Viggo Mortensen‘s wife in The Road. Scarlett Johansson will play the title role in Mary Queen of Scots, directed by Phillip Noyce. Jessica Biel is set to star in the romantic comedy Easy Virtue, playing an American divorcée who married a rich Englishman on an impulse. The film also stars Colin Firth. Conan the Barbarian will be brought back to the big screen — the original 1982 film starred Arnold Schwarzenegger. Christian Bale is in talks to play Melvin Purvis opposite Johnny Depp as John Dillinger in the 1930s crime drama Public Enemies.

    Johnny Depp as Dillinger…interesting choice! If anyone can I’m sure Depp can. I’ll go see it. But what say we have Conan go straight to DVD

    Personally I think Johnny Depp’s days are numbered, I can’t explain it but I have teh feelign he’s goign to go looney tunes very soon.

    hopefully they will make it a good movie.
