Angelina Jolie and Brad PittBrad Pitt was in talks prior to Heath Ledger‘s death to replace him in the drama Tree of Life, written and directed by Terrence Malick, after Ledger backed out of playing the role. Prior to his death, Ledger was reuniting with his The Brothers Grimm director, Terry Gilliam, on the new film The Imaginarium of of Doctor Parnassus. Pitt’s partner, Angelina Jolie, has signed on to an untitled spy thriller based on the life of intelligence operative Kathi Lynn Austin.  A remake of the 1981 film Clash of the Titans will be directed by Steve Norrington. Amanda Peet has joined the cast of the new X-Files sequel. Shooting on Public Enemies, starring Johnny Depp as famed gangster John Dillinger, begins shooting this March in Chicago. Public Enemy’s probably 2 years out till release. Too bad they don’t make movies like the 30’s. like in a month or two.

Yeah, why does it take so long to get the movies out? What are the editors doing that takes so long? With today’s technology, they should be able to get the movies out in a matter of days!
