Cars 3 posterThe third installment in the popular Cars animated franchise sped into theaters this weekend along with shark thriller 47 Meters Down and Tupac biopic All Eyez on Me. But it looks like box office champ Wonder Woman couldn’t hold on to the number one spot.

Overtaking Wonder Woman for first spot was Disney/PIXAR’s Cars 3, which took in a winning $53.7 million at the domestic box office in its opening weekend. Our users are enjoying the ride, giving the film a rating of 3.1 stars.

After spending two weeks at number one, Wonder Woman couldn’t fight off newcomer Cars 3 and dropped to second place. Still popular with audiences, though, the film took in $41.3 million this past weekend, making its total domestic gross $275 million. Our users give it a rating of 4.6 stars.

Audiences looking for something more serious came out to see Tupac Shakur biopic All Eyez on Me. The film came in third in its opening weekend and made $26.4 million at the domestic box office. The film has a rating of 4.4 stars from our users.
