Charlie Hunnam drops out of Fifty Shades of Grey

Charlie Hunnam has dropped out of playing Christian Grey in Fifty Shades of Grey. Officially, the reason given is that shooting for his TV show, Sons of Anarchy, interfered with scheduling. The studio behind the film released a statement that read: “The filmmakers of FIFTY SHADES OF GREY and Charlie Hunnam have agreed to find another male lead given Hunnam’s immersive TV schedule which is not allowing him time to adequately prepare for the role of Christian Grey.” However, it’s rumored Hunnam decided he wasn’t prepared for the same kind of fame that Robert Pattinson experienced after appearing in the Twilight movies. Fifty Shades of Grey is scheduled to begin shooting November 5th for release in theaters August 1, 2014. Hunnam will film Crimson Peak next year, starring opposite Jessica Chastain as her young husband, who isn’t who he appears to be.

For people who don’t him as an actor and didn’t want him for this role, you missed out on a good actor. He would have done it justice.

Good for him, this isn’t going to help anyone’s career. It’s going to be soft core porn at best.
