Halle Berry’s Canadian boyfriend speaks about split

Halle BerryHalle Berry‘s ex-boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry, denies her age is to blame for their split. The Canadian model told how the breakup of his four-and-a-half year relationship was amicable, and denied the nine-year age gap between him and 43-year-old Halle was a factor. He told Access Hollywood: “While I will not comment on all of the wild inaccuracies being speculated about in the media, I am sad to say that Halle and I have decided together to separate at this time. She is, and will forever be one of the most special and beautiful people that I have ever known, and I am certain that we will continue to have only love and respect for one another.” Since the couple split a few months ago, Gabriel, 34, and Halle have been working to resolve their finances and make arrangements for their two-year-old daughter, Nahla — whom they are said to be planning to equally share custody of. Gabriel added: “We have been blessed with the most amazing daughter in the world, and her happiness and well-being are the most important thing for both of us. Please respect our privacy during this very difficult time.” Gabriel is believed to have ended the relationship because they spent so much time apart.

If his daughter’s happiness and well-being were so important to both of them, they would be working through this and staying together and they would’ve gotten married in the first place. I feel very sorry for that little girl, she has very selfish and stupid parents.

Kim, just because a couple gets married doesn’t mean they’re going to be together forever. Couples are getting divorced now more than ever so you’re statement about them getting married is a irrelevant. The fact that both Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry realized the relationship wasn’t working and decided to go their separate ways show maturity on both their parts, not selfishness. Staying in a relationship for the sole purpose of a child is selfish and stupid. There are countless children living in unstable environments because they’re parents don’t want to put their child through the pain of a divorce. Marriage does not guarantee happiness or a life together. Sometimes it just doesn’t work out, no matter how much you work at it.

Just because a lot of couples are getting divorced doesn’t make it right not to get married in the first place. As a child of divorce, and knowing children of divorce, I know how much it messes up kids and that probably doubles when your parents didn’t even bother getting married in the first place. If you go ahead and have children with someone, then you should try to make the relationship work. And people should take more time to get to know each other before having kids. This kind of behaviour is incredibly harmful to children.

Hale will in no doubt be more mature than the
boy friend considering the 9years age difference.
Take it or leave it.it would have been better if it were other way round.

Age had nothing to do with their splitting up.I believe Gabriel already knew about Halle’s involvement with another dude.He will probably end up being their child’s primary caregiver, while she mucks about with her new beau!!!Looks to me like his maturity level far surpasses their age difference.Wow I can’t believe I said that,I usually stick up for the woman,LMAO!!!I guess there’s always a first time for everything!!
