Labyrinth star to make English debut

Spanish child actor Ivana Baquero, who played Ofelia in Pan’s Labyrinth (2006) has signed on for her first English-language role. She’ll play the title role in the thriller The New Daughter, about a single father who moves with his two kids to a remote farm. Ivana, who speaks English and Spanish, is the youngest actress ever to win a Goya Award. Since her film debut in Romasanta (2004), Ivana has played roles in six films.
