Lea Michele reveals her interesting family activity

Her Glee alter ego, Rachel Berry, may be as vanilla as they come but in real-life, Lea Michele has a much more interesting personal pastime. During an appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman last week, the diva revealed her family has a peculiar way of showing affection—by getting inked! “I come from a very big Italian family, and tattoos are very popular,” the 25-year-old actress told Lettterman. “Then we get super sentimental, and then the next day I wake up with, like, another butterfly on my foot. And I’m like, it seemed more important in the moment.” Her last family outing happened just last month to commemorate Easter. Lea revealed she has 14 tattoos in total, including a bird on her hip and a butterfly on her foot to pay tribute to her star-making role in the 2006 musical, Spring Awakening. However, when asked if she’d be getting a tattoo to honor her recent graduation from the New Directions — the Glee Club of William McKinley High School in her hit series (or better yet, her blossoming romance with co-star Cory Monteith), Michele declined, saying, “All my secret hidden spots are done, my real estate is over.” ~Kyle Sharp
