Reality show artists go nude for PETA

The stars of the new Internet reality show If I Can Dream (about five aspiring artists selected by American Idol producer Simon Fuller) posed nude for a series of new ads for the animal rights organization PETA. Justin Gaston (best known for being Miley Cyrus‘ ex-boyfriend), model Giglianne Braga, and former model-turned-aspiring actor Ben Elliot are three of the stars of the show, with a loyal audience with fans in more than 210 countries around the world. The two stars not in the ads are former American Idol contestant Alex Lambert and drama student Kara Killmer. The young hopefuls live in a Hollywood house with cameras following them 24/7 as they pursue their dreams. Fuller provides managers, coaches, and has celebrities mentor them. They remain in the house until they get a gig, record deal, etc. and move out. When that happens, another hopeful is invited to move in.
The show has become the most watched show on Hulu.com. Have you seen the show? What do you think of the ads?

These are totally tacky. It’s time Peta thought of a new gimmick other than having exhibitionists pose nude. I’m guessing their hearts are in the right place, I mean, yeah, let’s help animals but this turns me off their organization.
Is this ad campaign suppose to get us off? Or off chicken?
Larry, their vid clip is as graphic and real as it gets. It’s a lot more effective than this silly photo shoot. But the video turns out to be a disinformation campaign there at the end. Though the inhumane and cruel practice of slaughtering animals has merit, and would seriously have some consider going vegan, mentioning that the UN ‘scientists’ claim that the meat industry produces 40% more greenhouse gases (predominantly methane) than the Transportation industry?? What a load ! NOTHING compares to the production of greenhouse gases, and environmental impact of burning fossil fuels. The UN is a corrupt governing body who have invested interest in oil production, and PETA is misinforming the public with this propaganda.
What this tool McCartney fails to mention as well is that AGRICULTURAL LANDS and urban development (overpopulation) are the bigger contributors facing our environment. If everyone turned vegan, the remaining forests,wetlands would be decimated to convert it to irrigated crop fields. And they mentioned water shortages?? We need forests for photosynthesis to make our air breathable.
I’d like to see McCartney and his 5 kids take public transit and make a REAL difference.
The truth is, the inhumane practices of the meat industry is forced to operate in the most efficient way to make a profit because of the greed of the few, gov’t agencies/regulators, and the heavy taxes imposed by the federal gov’ts. The general public shouldn’t be made to feel guilty for eating meat. PETA needs to take their fight to the gov’t. They regulate it, create the situation, and are responsible.
Meat,fish,poultry is NOT bad for you.(organic is better). It should comprise 15-20% of your diet – nutrition 101.

he Gov’t has figured out the most efficient means of taking money from you, while allowing you to keep working without starving or leaving.
To boot there is a deficit lol wow talk about mis management of money, you give them $2, they take $4 and they spend $100. Why are we so nice? I bet a computer can do a better job managing as they are not biased and greedy.
