Mother of The Bride – Lana’s (Brooke Shields) daughter Emma (Miranda Cosgrove) returns from abroad and drops a bombshell: she’s getting married in Thailand in a month. Things only get worse when Lana learns that the man who captured Emma’s heart is the son of the man who broke hers years ago. Debuts May 9 on Netflix.

Dark Matter – Jason Dessen (Joel Edgerton) is a physicist, professor and family man who is abducted into an alternate version of his life one night while walking home. Wonder quickly turns to nightmare when he tries to return to his reality amid the mind-bending landscape of lives he could have lived. Debuts May 8 with first two episodes on Apple TV+, after that, one episode per week.

The Taste of Things – France, 1885. Talented cook Eugenie (Juliette Binoche) has worked for the preeminent gourmet Dodin Bouffant for the last two decades. Their mutual admiration turns into a romance, and gives rise to dishes, one more delicious than the next, that confound even the world’s most illustrious chefs. But Eugenie is fond of her freedom and has turned down Dodin’s many proposals of marriage, so he decides to do something he has never done before: cook for her. Available May 7 on DVD.
