Early box office for Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull shows an estimated $26 million (all figures US) for the Thursday opening. Box-office forecasters are predicting a huge weekend for the film, with grosses of up to $173 million. Obviously the film will be a huge monetary hit, but is it any good? Critics give it a 79% approval rate at Rottentomatoes.com, but does it live up to viewers’ expectations? So far, Tribute viewers have rated the movie 3 stars out of 5, and early user reviews show a mixed bag of comments, ranging from “Incredible film, all the magic of the original series,” to “I wait 19 years for another indiana jones, and it wasn’t all that good.
